What's On My Clothing Rack? Spring Edition!

Hello once again! Instead of complaining for the hundredth time about my hate for cold weather, I'll just get right to it. This week I organized my clothing rack and loaded it with everything related to spring. To help me get over all this terrible weather we're having I felt like preparing for spring would make me feel better, although it doesn't look like spring will be here anytime soon.

My clothing rack was purchased from here .

The Key pieces that I have on this rack are my wet seal circle skirt, high neck H&M dress and gingham overalls!

For more info on what clothes I have displayed on my clothing rack click below to watch the YouTube video.

Watercolor

There's always that extra girly feeling when you're in a skater skirt.I have a few of these skirts but they're all solid colors. So I was really excited when I picked up this watercolor skirt form Wetseal.
It really captures the essence of spring with all the different pastel colors on it.

Style on a Budget: Summer Shoes Under $40

With summer on it's way I'm positive we're all anticipating the return of warmer weather and spending our days under the sun. I am all about finding great things for a great price. After all I'm still in high school so i can't really buy shoes worth $500. So i created a list of fabulous shoes all under $40! (ahh that price just makes me happy) This is for all you style savvy people who like to get the most of their money.
1- Low heeled sandal-  (Go Jane// $20.80) I'm not much of a sandal person. They're a tricky shoe to buy in my opinion. These are an exception. White for summer is very classic and the chain strap gives an added edgy vibe. All for twenty dollars!

2- Platform Sneakers- (Asos // $38.11) I myself am completely in love with the platform trend. I've searched far and wide for the perfect pair. Summer is a time for adventure and we all need a reliable pair of shoes. These have a not so subtle print that really stands out. For just under $40

3- Caged sandal- (Lulus // $21.00) This style of shoe is not for everyone. I've viewed some mixed opinions on the caged shoe. I happen to love them and I've seen many for over 100 dollars in various stores. They're a great shoe if you want to add something different to your look, For only $21.

4- Strappy Heels- (Lulus // $22.00) This pair of shoes are one of the most worn of the moment. From celebs like Jennifer Lawrence to fashion bloggers; they've been worn everywhere on many different occasions. Daytime parties to a night in the city, they're versatile and are a must have of the season. For just $22

Shirt Dress

Happy Monday! I haven't blogged in a week and I feel completely lost! But in better news, the weather is really starting to warm up which means more time to blog. It's really hard trying to photograph outfits in the cold weather. And while it isn't summer weather just yet, this shirt dress is the perfect transitional piece for this new season.

5 Cutest Dresses for Spring!

Happy First Day of Spring! I know, I'm not the only one who has been waiting for this day. The long wait is over an warmer weather is slowly returning. With spring in full swing, it's always nice to have a fresh start for the new season and add new, exciting pieces to your closet! Dresses have always been a staple of mine and there a nice way of dressing up without being over the top. I decided to hunt for dresses perfect for any spring occasion!

1: The Cutout Dress: Cutouts are a trend I've noticed more often now. However if you want to try the trend but aren't too comfortable with huge slits all over a dress (like me,) a simple cut on the back of the dress will do just fine!

2: Lace: Lace will always be classic and perfect for any event. Parties or just a casual outing. Especially when it's a bold flower print!

3: Floral Slip Dress: Slips are easy to wear layered or just alone. I've noticed this trend rise recently and it's definitely something different. These lingerie 'esque'

4: Patterned Slip Dress: Similar to the last slip but the dress isn't as tight and is more casual.

5. Maxi Dress: Maxi dresses come in so many different varieties, but way better way to welcome the season than with a bold and colorful print all along the dress? (Nothing really.) It's a fun twist as apposed to your basic black maxi.
