Back To The Basics

I've been in a "fashion rut" lately where I just haven't been able to put together any outfits. Maybe it's because I'm currently busy with a million other things at the moment. Whenever I feel like this, I tend to go back my favorite pieces and just wear those differently. But recently, I realized it's just as better to put on a basic white tee and a pair of jeans and go on from there! These classic pieces are so easy to style and make it easier to put together an outfit.

Baby Blue

Overalls: LuLu's //  Top: F21 // Shoes: Urbanog

If you weren't aware, I am obsessed with overalls! I have so many pairs, I practically live in them. This gingham print pair of overalls are my latest overalls purchase. I got them the end of last year and it was too cold I couldn't wear them! But now that the weather isn't so depressing I can finally wear them! I'm especially obsessed with this pair because of the print! Gingham print is definitely one of my favorite trend this season.

One Last Time

 Hat: H&M // Dress: F21 // Shoes: Charlotte Russe

Today was actually a really good day. The weather wasn't horrible and I woke up feeling like spring was finally here! I know I've complained far too much about the weather before, but I'm just so happy that it's not 18 degrees outside! I'm so excited that I decided to wear a floral dress. Which isn't that big of a deal, but I hate flowers so this is a really special day. This dress doesn't exactly look like a floral print which is why I love it so much.

Mom Jeans

Hey loves! Today I decided to debut one of my most recent purchases- the mom jeans. For my first pair, I can definitely say, I'm obsessed! They're the ultimate clothing item featuring both comfort and style. Along with my maxi cardigan, which I also love immensely.

Warm Winter

Despite the fact there is actually snow outside right now, it was actually warm outside when I panned this look. But there's no escaping winter when you live on the east coast. Over the past few weeks, I've done some shopping to try and prepare for the cold weather like stocking up on jeans and long sleeved shirts. And this was the outcome. My version of a warm winter look.

The Last of Summer

During these last few official days of summer, I'm trying to make use of my favorite clothing from this past season. Every time a new season rolls around, I always feel like I didn't make the most of my wardrobe during that time. Like this maxi skirt! It's been my go-to skirt all summer. It goes with everything and above all it has my favorite feature any clothing item should- comfort! As well as these shoes. You may have seen them more than once, because I love them so much!

So before it's time for fall (my absolute favorite season), I'm making the most of my summer favorites from my closet!

Denim Joggers

Hi loves!  My summer in NYC at FIT is over. I'm also currently in the process of moving so my internet has been unavailable. But besides that, my summer has been a blast. Summer is sadly coming to a close. So I'm trying to get as much use of of my crop tops as possible.

I've loved the "jogger" trend since the start of the year. I also love acid wash jeans. So why not take a risk and combine the two?

All Black Everything

Happy Friday! It's been a pretty hectic week for me. This was the first week of my summer at FIT and despite all the school work, it's been amazing! My main priority when it comes to dressing in the city is comfort. Something along the lines of what's in this outfit. The main focus being my shoes. Sports sandals may not be the first thing that comes to mind, but rest assured they are extremely comfortable and effortlessly chic.

Sandals: Adidas
The key to making this look work is to keep the entire outfit casual so that the sandals aren't the main focus but a simple addition to the whole look.
