WInter Essentials

The weather yesterday was insane. It snowed all day yesterday and on sunday! So since it's pretty obvious that winter is on it's way I decided to share everything that is definitely a must have, this upcoming winter season.

Bright Coat, Over the knee socks, knee high boots, collared button down top, turtleneck crop top.

1. Personally, I love anything with a bright color. But specifically this season, a bright coat has been in more demand than ever!
2. Over the knee boots seem to always add something extra in a somewhat bland outfit. When the winter weather is forcing you to wear the warmest of clothes, you'll still look cute with a pair of these. 
3. No matter how cold it is, I will will wear a skirt. That's just how I am. But it's nice knowing that instead of wearing tights, you can wear some thick socks!
4. Button down tops are great! Sure they look nice alone, but layered under a warm sweater is an added bonus. Extra warmth while perfectly achieving the preppy look!
5. Yes, there is a way to wear crop tops in the winter.. Just make sure it has long sleeves!

Lavender Likes: Fall!

     It is most likely not a secret that I'm eagerly awaiting for the next season. I'm all for that eerie and spooky time of year. I love dark reds and plums and waking up to the smell of pumpkin candles. And we can't forget that this is the season where sweaters and boots the staple to any outfit. So, to proclaim my love for autumn I made a collage to share all of the things I'm looking forward to in the next few weeks.  

                     

Boots: I hate sandals and wearing shoes that reveal my feet so knee high boots are definitely "my cup of tea".

Sweaters: Cardigans, dresses and jumpers oh my! I cannot express my love for layering into words. Nothing makes me happier that I can wear a dress and remain as warm as possible with the trick of layering a cardigan and a scarf. 

Scarves: My closet has shelves lined with scarves. It all started in the 6th grade when I discovered that a scarf, can change an outfit from blah, to BAM! 

Dark Nails: Anything that consists of the color red needs to be in my hands. Or on my nails. 

Leather: This seems to be a reoccurring trend, and it couldn't make me happier! Leather adds a tough and rebel like vibe to any outfit!

Pumpkin: ANYTHING PUMPKIN IS A MUST HAVE! My heart flutters everytime I hear or smell the scent. Pies,candles,lattes, you name it! I gotta have it!

It also wouldn't hurt if one day they created a pumpkin perfume. Just sayin'

Must Haves for Every Purse!

I like to declare my self as a purse-aholic. But it's a very purse-onal problem.(Did you get my pun?No ? Awks)

This whole post is dedicated to the love , addiction I have with purses. These are the things I believe you certainly can't live without inside of your purse. First things, first- my purse is studded all over <3

     The basics are your phone, wallet and a small chap stick/lip gloss. No matter the size of your purse these should be here at all all time. In your wallet you should have your cards that are going to be used everyday( I.D, license, metro card.)

          

          

       
    Some next key items that I see myself having use for everyday are lotion and hair spray. I recommend travel size products so you don't have to lug around such large things. If you're a klutz like me, band aids are also a necessity.

                                  

    
    I really should carry around a makeup bag.... I also don't recommend carrying round your nicest or most expensive makeup. The makeup I carry around is mainly cheap and things I wouldn't mind if they broke.The little pocket on the side of your bad is where i store everything.In that pocket i have:

• Pink Revlon Lip Gloss
• Sally Hansen Nude Lip Gloss
• "Sweet Mint" EOS Lip Balm
• "Grapevine" Maybelline Baby Lips
• Rimmel London Lipgloss "Captivate  Me"

• Ulta Blush "Girlie"
• Wet n Wild mascara

 Some random "staples" to my bag are a flashlight, house keys and a bracelet, (In case I'm not wearing enough accessories)

          

Lastly, you need a mirror in your purse. It is necessary to check your makeup and hair throughout the day! I own a vintage mirror that my mother gave to me. An old random woman gave it to her saying she used it in the 50's and it had a little compartment with powder in it.
